Cancellation Policies

Out of respect and consideration to your Therapist, Physician, and other clients, we kindly ask that you honor your scheduled appointment time. Our schedule is limited and appointments are booked back to back.

Kalaheo Wellness Center understands that unanticipated events occasionally do happen in everyone’s life. We ask that you give at least a 24-hour advance notice within normal office hours or leave a voice message during regular business hours of 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm on the machine when canceling and/or changing an appointment. Email or text cancellations are not acceptable.

Thank you for understanding that your cooperation allows someone else to schedule an appointment. Please note that you will not be able to leave a message outside of regular business hours!

Providing less than 24 hours’ notice when canceling or rescheduling appointments may be subject to partial or full charge for that appointment.

It is office policy that you are allowed 3 missed appointments or cancellations with no penalty. After the third cancellation or missed appointment, you will be charged the full amount of your chiropractic adjustment and/or other therapy treatment fees.

Additionally, insurance will not be billed for these charges. Please note that cancellation fees are the responsibility of the patient and must be paid in full before the next visit.

Due to the nature of scheduling Massage and Acupuncture appointments, we ask that you arrive in a timely manner. In addition, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel appointments. If we do not receive 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 100% of the service price. The amount must be paid before your next scheduled appointment. Please note that Coupons / Special Offers / Gift Certificates may be voided without 24-hour notice.

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. Kalaheo Wellness Center Massage Therapists and Physicians will do their best to accommodate and honor your full scheduled time, but if you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session booked. Please plan accordingly. It is advisable to arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their scheduled appointment time will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged 100% of the fee for the “missed” appointment. Coupons / Special Offers / Gift Certificates could also be voided.
